MARKETING CONSULTANTS
Mary Shafer: Mary Shafer is an award-winning author, full-time freelance writer and professional speaker. On the side, she serves as publisher of Word Forge Books, an independent micro-publisher of books that celebrate what’s wondrous about the world. Her well rounded expertise in many areas makes her a top notch marketing consultant.
GRAPHIC DESIGNERS
Lantern Glow Design: Caryn Newton started Lantern Glow Design, her freelance graphic and web design studio, in 2009 so she could bring her passion for visual design to businesses who’ve “seen the light” in understanding the importance of visually organized and attractive information. The business name stands for the guidance she provides, bringing four years of training and six years of real-world experience to clients’ projects. She knows that budgets and quality services can come together to result in great design that really works for a business, and she’s committed to making that happen inside a process that puts the highest priority on customer service.
L.E.E. Design: LE.E. Design was established in 2004 by graphic designer Jessica Dockter. Her desire to help others compelled her to find new ways to help individuals and companies with conceptual development, logo design, company branding, and marketing images that clearly convey what you want to express.
EDITING
Writers in the Sky: Nashville resident Yvonne Perry is published author, public speaker, and the owner of Writers in the Sky Creative Writing Services. Naturally, her writing expertise and interest lies in the new age, spiritual, and metaphysical genres. Yvonne is also an active member of Tennessee Writers Alliance and faculty for Live-Spiritand Spirit Authors.
She is the author of twelve children’s e-books, a humorous book about mid-life crisis, and More Than Meets the Eye: True Stories about Death, Dying, and Afterlife, intended to comfort those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Her book on stem cell research was an award-winning finalist in the Current Events: Political/Social genre of the National Best Books 2007 Awards. Yvonne recently released, Whose Stuff Is This? Finding Freedom from the Negative Thoughts, Feelings, and Energy of Those Around You, a book to help people who are too empathic for their own good.
Editing TLC: Joyce Gilmour is a wife, mother, retired third grade teacher, and copy editor. I live in Brooklyn, Wisconsin with my husband of thirty-six years. Beyond my family and school, I reach out to serve others in two ways. The first way is on a local level by teaching Love and Logic parenting classes in our school district and around the state. The other is on a national level by serving as a book reviewer for MWSA (Military Writers Society of America). I also write a monthly column called “Connections.” Editing is the result of my love for copy editing and the fact that I have had the opportunity to work with a growing number of authors. I want to share their work and as well as the work of future authors needing copy editing services or book reviews.
